Rename performance tests -> fit1a etc.
All performance tests run with -O2 in about 1s on 8core office PC

Extensive performance tests show no difference wrt openmp.

this introduces an OS dependency (pthread) into lib/CmaeLists.txt.

Some examples now run without valgrind errors.
