masks don't transform upon zoom or resize

Zoom currently only affects the color map; the overlays do not adapt.

Possible solution: instead of overlays, show masked pixels (as for "lamp" button).

But worse, the overlays also don't follow when the plot is resized. Not even if we just open the list panel.
